First car in Rocky Harbour was this 1927 Dodge owned by William Young. (Jim Shears' car was in Norris Point but he wouldn't bring it out because the road to Rocky Harbour was too bad.). Mr. Young and sons kept chains on the wheels all the time and carried slabs in it to put onto the potholes. The old coal shed in the background is in the same location as it is today at the lighthouse.
