Preparing for spring fishing. The men Ralph Hutchings, Daniel Hutchings, Max Hutchings, Roland Hutchings, Rex Hutchings and Charles Hutchings are digging the boats out of the snow for the spring fishery. They have skin boats, grey guernseys, jockey caps, and white mitts. The grey mitts were always knitted from white and black wool that were mixed before they were carded and spun.
