The M.V. Nepsya was bought at Halifax by John Young and brothers Heber and Walter. The Nepsya was 85 tons gross with a 180 horse power Fairbanks engine . This boat carried freight from Halifax and Sydney to Bonne Bay and North as far as Blanc Sablon. The vessel burned in Bonne Bay in 1954.
