The first car in Bonne Bay was owned by James E. Shears of Rocky Harbour. The car was driven by Mr. Shears from Connecticut, U.S.A to Bonne Bay in 1932. The 1926 Chrysler was the first car seen by many people in the area. Standing on the right is Bryant Shears, on the left is John Shears Sr.
