First motor car in Cow Head. This pick-up was owned by Charles G. Payne and was carried to Cow Head on the coastal boat "S.S. Northern Ranger". Roads were limited with only sleigh paths connecting Cow Head, Cow Head Peninsula and Belldown's Point. Mr. Payne used these paths as his personal highway.
