THE HEART OF THE CITY

JULIE

Julie is gross.  She doesn’t brush her hair because it would disturb the bugs.  Sometimes, she picks her nose in public.   She likes to see scary movies by herself in the dark, but then she gets so scared that she can’t sleep at night and comes to work the next day very tired and cranky.   Sorry about that, gang.  She eats a lot of chocolate but not any meat.   She drinks milk though, if it’s chocolate.  She will be moving into a house in Toronto so she can go to Ryerson University and study photography.  Most of her roommates are mice.  She likes learning lots of things about downtown Hamilton and she appreciates the opportunity to get some experience taking pictures and making websites.  Since the beginning of this project, Julie has learned a lot about history, improved her Russian accent, developed a taste for knee-sox and mini-skirts, and discovered things about pants pockets that she never dreamed possible.  She wants to thank everyone at Special Collections because they are the Special-est Collection she knows!!!
