A. Nordheimer, born in Bavaria, organized with his brother the first musical society in Ontario. Founder of A&S Nordheimer, a famous Toronto music house.

 
N.L. Nathanson was Canada's largest distributor of motion picture films during the 1920s and co-owner of the St. Patrick's Professional Hockey Club, forerunners of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
