Born, 1930, Bruges, Belgium, Paul M. Soubry was educated in his native land before immigrating to Winnipeg, Manitoba. He continued his education by enrolling at Angus Business College in Winnipeg, and later in Advanced Marketing and Sales Management at the University of Waterloo, 1951. Mr Soubry started his 45-year career in the Farm Equipment industry, as an Export Trainee for Cockshutt Plow Co. As a result of mergers and acquisitions he worked in senior executive positions for White Farm Equipment Co., Versatile Farm Equipment Co., and Ford New Holland Canada Ltd., retiring, 1995, as Vice President and General Manager, New Holland Canada Ltd. Today, Mr. Soubry is Chairman of the Board of Governors, University of Manitoba; Chairman, Victoria Hospital; Winnipeg Member Industrial Technology Centre, Province of Manitoba; Former Chairman, Canadian Exporters Association and Canadian Farm Industrial Equipment Association.
