Fernando
Sinn, born in Santiago, obtained an industrial-mechanical engineering degree
at the Catholic University of Chile. Fernando and his wife Cecilia left
Chile with their first-born daughter in 1971. Fernando, who followed a
manufacturing management career in the appliance business, and then with
a Toronto-based engineering company, developed automotive operations in
South America, is currently an international marketing executive with Magna
International Inc. Viewed in this 1998 photo Fernando and Cecilia are proud
Canadians whose three children are all graduates of the University of Western
