the sixth day of the second lunar month of each year (March in the Roman
calendar), Vietnamese worldwide commemorate the Two Trung Sisters who liberated
Vietnam from Chinese domination in 40 A.D. This national holiday, sometimes
referred to as “Women's Day,” is celebrated yearly in lavish ceremonies
