Before
the invasion they took my gun crew, they took all my guns. I had to turn in
all of my guns and everything and I was left by myself with nobody around and
I was sent to training center number one crew. That is where I spent the rest
of my time until I got out of the army. When I got out of the army I volunteered
for the Pacific, I got as far as Nanaimo. The war was over and I came back and
was discharged the 28th of September 1945. I got barred in 1947 and I have two
daughters, they both have good positions in the health department. One in the
Tribal Council in Saskatoon and the other in Prince Albert with the other Health
Administrator.
