tanning:
To convert a hide into leather, usually by soaking or steeping in a bath prepared from tanbark or synthetically.

Any material that is woven. Also any material which is used to weave (yarns etc...).

Of the genus Nicotania. The Nicotania tabacum is the species whose leaves are prepared for smoking, chewing, or as snuff.

(metric ton) A unit of mass, equivalent to 1000 kg.

toxicity:
Quality, relative degree, or specific degree of being toxic or poisonous.

transfusion:
The process of transferring blood or plasma directly from one person or animal to another.

transgenic:
Animals which have been genetically engineered, using the genes of another species, to produce organs or chemicals of that species. Example: Pigs which have been genetically engineered to produce human organs.

turmeric:
Consists of dried as well as fresh rhizomes of a plant known as Curcuma longa. It has been used for centuries in the Indian traditional system of medicine, as a spice and a natural food colour. Turmeric has been used internally as a stomach tonic and a blood purifier and externally for the treatment of skin diseases and wound healing.
