PAMI GETS NEW NAME

Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute is adopting a new logo design and will be going by a new name to mark the expansion into a new phase of progress, says Glenn Frehlich, manager of the Humboldt station.

Frehlich announced Monday that Machinery Institute had been adopted as the new working name for the organization while Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute remains the legal, corporate name of the three centre

agricultural machinery testing facilities.

The expansion phase will begin with extensive advertising of what services are available from the Machinery Institute and prove what the institute is capable of doing.

Frehlich said expansion of services to the farmer and machinery manufacturing is going to be undertaken, including the promotion of development work on new equipment and increased turn around time in producing machinery evaluation reports.
