General Information

The homesteaders who had picked their claims and filed for thirty-one homesteads returned to Rosthern, rested for a day and with Father Bruno started on the 16th for the United States. When Mr. Renneberg asked Father Bruno, "If we return in sptring to take possession of our homesteads, will we then have priests to take care of our spiritual needs?", Father Bruno replied, "As soon as the settlers arrive, we will also be here." Mr. Renneberg in a later report commented, "Thanks be to God, the Fathers have kept their word".
