SILVER JUBILEE OF ST. PETER'S COLONY

The 25th anniversary of St. Peter's Colony was celebrated as a three day event on June 27, 28 and 29, 1928. This took place seven years after St. Peter's Colony became a diocese.The following report is reproduced from the July 4, 1928 Prairie Messenger:The silver jubilee celebration held in Muenster on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of last week was the occasion for one of the largest gatherings ever witnessed at Muenster. The fine weather during all three days permitted people from all parts of the province to join the people of St. Peter's Colony in joyful observance of the anniversary.
