Dancing - particularly the Polka is very popular in Saskatchewan, so Humboldt holds an annual Polkafest. People come from all corners of the province, some in their recreational vehicles, others in cars, others dancing all the way to attend the two day festival in Humboldt. Dancing begins Saturday and runs from 1 pm to 1 am. Sunday, we host a polka mass attracting 1400 to 1500 people. Many stay afterwards to enjoy the breakfast and an afternoon of dancing.
