Humboldt has a community centre, the Uniplex, which can accommodate all types of events. The Uniplex consists of 4 meeting rooms, Jubilee Hall, arena, curling rink and the newly added indoor swimming complex.
Jubilee Hall can accommodate up to 400 people for dances and up to 500 people for banquets.
The area seats up to 1869 people, with 5 dressing rooms, laundry room, weight room and concession booths.
The curling rink consists of 6 sheets of ice, lounge, and concession,
The indoor swimming complex features a 25m pool with diving platform, family change rooms, spectator viewing area, and future room for a water slide.

The Leo Parker Arena contains natural ice and is used for hickey, figure skating, ringette, and public skating. There are four dressing rooms and a concession area.

Waldsea Lake Regional Park is located 10 km northwest of Humboldt. There are 32 trailer campsites, 12 tenting camp-sites, boating and swimming, modern hall, concession, ball diamonds and horseshoe, mini golf and driving range, hiking and biking trails, and play ground facilities.

Humboldt has many parks and playgrounds. Non-neighborhood pars are Glenn Hall Park (8th Avenue & 4th Street north), Centennial Park (8th Avenue & 17th Street), and Town Hall (8th Avenue & Main Street). There are three neighbourhood parks within the Town of Humboldt. Greenwood Park is located at 15th Street west, Adventure Park is located at 2nd Avenue and 13th Street, and Carl Schenn Park on 12th Avenue west.

There is a 9-hole grass-green golf course located in Humboldt. The Humboldt Golf Club has a clubhouse concession, licensed facilities and a driving range.

There is a bowling alley, Kenway Lanes, with 8 lanes. There is public bowling and league bowling for all ages.

Just northwest of Humboldt are cross country ski trails with a clubhouse. Carlton Trail Cross Country Skiing Club provides lessons.

There are tennis and badminton courts that are available for public use during the summer months.

Racquetball courts and physical fitness facilities are available.

During the Winter months, Humboldt has a Minor Hockey Association, but also Commercial Hockey, Senior Hockey, and Old Timers Hockey. The Humboldt Figure Skating Club offers professional instructors for lessons. There is a curling league organized by the Humboldt Curling Club.. Humboldt has a ringette for girls for all ages. There is also a Speed Skating Club and the Humboldt Indoor Soccer Association to keep busy during the cold months.

Humboldt is also the home of the SJHL team, the Humboldt Broncos, a Junior "A" operation.

Humboldt has two dance academies. There is the Humboldt School of Dance which offers professional instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, Ukrainian Dance, and aerobics. Jackie's Dance Academy offers ballet, tap, and jazz.

There are many other clubs within the Town of Humboldt such as boxing, weightlifting, broomball, volleyball, gymnastics, Men's Basketball and Humboldt Multiple 4-H Club. .
