The minerals depicted here have been selected from the approximately 2,800 specimens in the Vickery Mineral Collection housed at Science North. The collection was donated to the centre by the estate of Mr. Clifford Vickery. Mr. Vickery was an avid mineral collector for his entire life and his huge collection has become an integral part of the exhibit program at Science North and the Big Nickel Mine.
