Several fragments of very thin plate (window) glass were recovered from the site of the P.S. Lady Sherbrooke. Often not thicker than the width if a dime, this clear glass was recovered from the cabin areas. Since this glass was so thin it would have been easily broken yet served as a small protection from the outside elements for passengers.
