Artefacts - Ceramics

A variety of ceramic products were recovered from the site of the P.S. Lady Sherbrooke. As can be seen in the following images objects such as dinner plates, bottles, and an ink well found. The origin of many of these objects can be traced. For example, by examining the designs painted on the plates the fragments can be identified as coming from a British manufacturer, and dating from a specific period. The discovery of these artefacts assists in reconstructing the lifestyle experienced by the passengers of the Lady Sherbrooke.
