Locating a Second Molson Vessel

Second Vessel Similar to the coring which was done underwater a series of holes were drilled in the area that magnetometer surveys (see image on the side) had reported heavy concentrations of material below the surface. A small sample, or carrot, of the vertical makeup of an area further assisted in the understanding of what lays below the surface.

These images show the team coring not far from the underwater site, near the location of a present day parking lot. The discovery of a vessel, possibly a second vessel from the John Molson line, made from oak was made. Additional information as to whether it was a steam vessel, or even part of the Molson line requires further archeological excavation.
