Burridge Block
Burridge Block, c. 1885

This building, on the southwest corner of Talbot and King, was initially occupied by a harness-maker reflecting the type of business that often appeared in the vicinity of the market at the turn of the century.

It is still standing today and is one of the best preserved of the market district's 19th century buildings.
