Simcoe's plan for the capital at the Forks superimposed on a map of present-day London. He labeled the plan as follows:

    A. Mrs. Simcoe's intended Villa
    b. Square for Government House and Public Buildings
    c. Principal Streets and rows of houses, on the heights near 30 feet above the river
    d. Public terraces 90(?) feet wide
    e. road from Niagara and bridge
    f. roads to Detroit and Mexico
    H. Meadows very fertile sometimes overflown dotted lines are gardens and mews.The single ones (?) streets
