The "when and where" of these two is unknown. They were sons of Armenie and Charles Bessette. They were carpenters by trade and both had a home and land between Rawlings Lake Road and the Shuswap River.

On September 24th, 1900, Pete was married to Edna Deschamps. They had a son, born in spring of 1901 and a daughter, born the next year.

When the war was declared in 1914, Pete and Claud joined the army. Both lost their lives in battle.
