MPRESS
The Empress Hotel, which opened in 1908 on Government St., is the westernmost hotel in a chain of C.P.R. hotels. As such, the Empress has provided the traditionally luxurious C.P.R. style accommodation and exceptional service to many Victoria visitors for nearly a hundred years.
The Empress Hotel
Designed by one of Victoria's most famous architects, Francis Mawson Rattenbury, the Empress is a prominent landmark in Victoria's Inner Harbour. Rattenbury also designed the C.P.R. Coast Service terminal which now houses the wax museum.
