"Wrote and read till 11 and then started with Bruce and Eric to ride to Little Métis to lunch with Edith and the children. A lovely ride by the beach and we were all there as jolly and happy as possible together. Rode home by the concession road. Wind too high to be very pleasant. Sewed and talked to Bruce in the evening. Early to bed."
