The blue poppies of Tibet grow 4 ft. tall and seed themselves. Rare Asiatic Gentians, which even in England are pampered in small pans in the alpine house, form large mats, covering many square feet and producing thousands of blossoms. The plant collections which include many other rarities are very rich.
