"A large informal English garden was once behind the home. Unfortunately, yesterday's flowerbeds have been replaced by office towers and parking space. The residence is now set between large buildings and seems less imposing than it really is. Nevertheless, the remaining grounds, albeit small, are well-preserved. The magnificent stone and wrought-iron fence, lamps and monumental staircase leading to the entrance still stand."
