Group of miners standing on 'Old Curly' at the Lucky Jim Mining camp. This #3 steam locomotive is believed to have been the first operating in B.C. It was in operation by 1881 and was made in San Francisco by Marshuettes and Cantrell, used by them until 1869. It is a 'saddle' type steam locomotive .
