Vermillion Bay is a small Highway community located between Dryden and Kenora, Ontario on Highway 11-17. The area has links to both the Kenora and Dryden areas for historical ancestry. As with many communities in the region its Native Veterans crossover with other places.
Originally created as a Hudson's Bay Fur Trade Post in the 18th Century.
