This is the Hudson's Bay house Herbie Taylor built while he was post manager in Hudson's Hope. The old store can partly be seen on the right. The logs for the house were pulled out by dog team. The large store in the centre was the Diamond P (from Grande Prairie) of 1915. It was later owned by Harry Barr. The barn was built by J. M. McDougall, manager of the Bay 1915-l8
