Booming Gas Industry Requires more Pipelines
With the continued success in oil and gas production, more and more pipelines were needed and added to facilitate transport. Train car loads of pipe shown here were delivered to Fort St. John to be strung on Willow Flats to Fort Nelson pipeline in the early 1960's.
More pipe destined for pipelines in the area. Crossing the Peace River on the Clayhurst Ferry, this load is bound for a line to connect to the McMahon plant in Taylor.
