The Last Spike

Johnny Beatton, son of the last Hudson's Bay Factor, Frank Beaton, ceremoniously pounds the last spike as the Pacific Great Eastern Railway is brought to Fort St. John in 1958. BC Premier W.A.C. Bennett trustingly holds the spike for Johnny.
