About Us: Michaela Knot Favorite Part of Project:Working with everyone on the team and learning from each other. Without them the project would have been a lot longer and far less exciting. Education: I'm in the 3rd year of the Computing Science program at the University of Alberta. Career Goals: Wherever the road of life takes me. Gemma Mio Favourite Part of Project: QTVR & Flash The creation of the QuickTime VR virtual exhibit as well as that of the Flash introduction appealed most to me. Besides gaining valuable experience, this project has broadened my knowledge and interest in motion graphics. Education:Working towards BSc, Specialization in Computing Science,graduating in April, 2004. I am interested in artificial intelligence, Web design, graphics Career Goals: After graduating from Computing Science, my goal is to work as a software designer/engineer or as a researcher in the Artificial Intelligence field as well as to work towards an MBA degree. Amber Razak Favourite Part of Project: Designing the graphics was a fun part. It was a good experience working with everyone as a team. Most of all I enjoyed watching the website develop from an initial idea, on paper, to a complete piece of art. Education: My major is Art and Design and I will be graduating in December 2001. Career Goals: My career goal is to see myself design innovative and expressive designs for the web and multimedia. Jerremie Clyde Favourite Part of Project: Organizing what had to be done, and watching all the different parts come together at the end. Education: I have a MA in history, and will be graduating with a MLIS degree in the Spring of 2001. Career Goals: I hope to be able to apply technology in innovative ways to meet traditional library goals more effectively. | ||
