Currently, Ray's Seneca Roots has been operating for more than four years. Ray buys Seneca (or Snake Root as it is also known) from people throughout the Interlake, and in turn, sells to various overseas buyers. Seneca is mostly used for medicinal purposes, and can be found in common pain relievers. It is also found in other products like soap & toothpaste. Seneca is a large part of the Native culture, and has always been used as a pain and stomach ailment reliever by the Native people.
