FROM PETER O'REILLY'S DIARY, THURSDAY, NOV 23,1876:
- BORN: NOV 23, 1869, at home.
FROM COLONIST, NOV 8, 1876:
- NOV 6, 1876: Died at seven years.
- DEC 14, 1872: First entry in the diary of Peter: regarding Pop's suffering (at three years old).
- JAN 1873: Pop's very sickly -- something is wrong with her back.
- DEC 9, 1873: Pop is suffering again from her back.
- DEC 16, 1873: Pop is consulted with JWT as to the advisability of Carry proceeding to New York or London to seek advice for dear Pop.
- DEC 17, 1873: Dr. Helmcken saw Pop in one of her fits.
- DEC 19, 1873: Doctors advised it would be unwise to remove the child in her present weak state, but that she should be strapped down on her back by means of splints along the sides and that nothing else could be done.
- DEC 20, 1873: leaches are applied to Pop.
- JAN 1874: Pop is still suffering.
- MAR 23, 1874: New stays arrived for Pop.
- OCT 25, 1875: Mrs. Lethbridge commenced to teach puss and Pop.
- OCT 28, 1875: While Peter O'Reilly was at Yale he received news of Pop's illness.
