Gold Rush Case in RBCM - 1 rectangular brooch c.1864, Cariboo quartz, white stone with gold veining, edged in twisted cord of Cariboo gold. Fastens at back with a pin and also a small eye to adapt it as a pendant. Engraved on back "D. Fraser to his esteemed Friend Lady Douglas." Donald Fraser was a reporter for the Victoria Times.
