The Carriage Drive Shrubbery

The century old English Laurel, ivy and holly plants create decorative hedges and borders around the carriage drive. Ailanthus altissimen or "tree of heaven" is the frond type tree in the middle. A large Broadleaf maple tree casts its shadow over the shrubbery, with "Kwanso Flore Pleuo" growing under it. Earlier in the season, "semi double orange" day lilies, a heritage variety, line the carriage drive.
