The view from the croquet lawn, leading to the south garden. Draping over the arch is a hop plant (Humulus lupulus), and the climbing roses Souvenir de la Malmaison and Veil Cheublau. To the right of the arch is the "Double White Fragrant" lilac (Mme Lenione).
