Sunset

Noted on the O'Reilly list as 'yellow like Safrano', bred by Henderson in 1883,"A sport from 'Perle des Jardins', of the same colour as 'Reve d'Or': a handsome, useful, strong growing Rose, with foliage of a beautiful red colour in the spring."(F-M2)...In all ways it is like its parent, except in colour, which is, instead of canary yellow, saffron orange, like 'Mme Falcot', only darker...(JR7/172)... giving lots of flowers, more often medium sized than large, and wafting a delicious Tea-rose scent(JR17/40/41).
