Lesson Concept:
This lesson will help students to have a better awareness of traditional Aboriginal technologies, and also how those and European technologies effected each other after contact.

Learning Outcome:
It is expected that students will describe traditional technology used by Aboriginal people in Canada.

Lesson Plan:
Create two large charts and ask students to research the information to fill them. One chart will show how European technologies and goods were adopted and used by Aboriginal people, and the other showing how Aboriginal technology and goods were used by European explorers.

Discuss how each group may have helped the other through the exchange of technology and goods.
