Regina's Four Major Provincial Crown
Corporations
As the Capital city of the Saskatchewan Regina is
the home of several of its Crown Corporations,
including SaskTel, SaskEnergy, SaskPower and
Saskatchewan Government Insurance. These Crown
Corporations employ thousands of people in the City
of Regina.
1) SaskPower Corporation is the biggest producer of
the four major crown corporations bringing in $977
million dollars in revenue, employing 962 people in
Regina.
2) SaskTel is the second largest revenue generator of
the four major crown corporations bringing in a total
of $737 million annually, employing 2520 people in the
City of Regina.
3) Following SaskTel is Saskatchewan Government
Insurance Canada (SGI). Along with its Crown
counterparts, SGI is a major employer in the city
providing employment opportunities to 900 Regina
residents while also generating an annual revenue
of $577 million.
4) The final Crown Corporationof the major four is Sask-
Energy with a total of $399 million in revenues,
employing 477 people within Regina.
