The CRAIGFLOWER was built as an excursion steamer for use around inner Victoria harbour.  On a hot tip about all the money that could be made on the Skeena River, owner Roy Troup brought her up the coast in 1901.   However, she proved hopelessly underpowered for the swift water of the Skeena.   As the smallest vessel to attempt the Skeena, she only made it as far as Kitselas Canyon and could go no further.   She headed back to Victoria where she was later dismantled in 1911.
