Sports at Collège Sainte-Anne were looked upon as being essential to the students' full development. Since the very beginning, the most popular sports were always hockey and baseball. Other sports such as basketball, volleyball, racquetball, and tennis only began at a later date. College sports were under the direction of l’Association sportive de Sainte-Anne, and later on, under its new name, the Association sportive Jeanne d’Arc.
