Édouard Boudreault was born on January 7, 1916, in Éboulements,
Québec. Before his ordination into the priesthood on March 4, 1944,
he had studied in Bathurst and in Charlesbourg. In 1955, he was named Superior
at Sainte-Anne's and he remained as such for three years. In 1958 he was
promoted to Provincial Superior of the Eudist Fathers in Canada.
