Alexandre Braud was born in France and came to Canada in 1892. He studied
education and taught at Sainte-Anne for eleven years during which time
he was ordained into the priesthood. In 1903, he taught at Valleyfield
College in Québec, and from 1904 to 1906, he was parish priest in
Rogersville, New Brunswick. His term as Superior of Collège
Sainte-Anne extended from 1917 to 1922.
