François d’Entremont was born on December 5, 1907, in West
Pubnico, Nova Scotia. He studied at Collège Saint-Laurent
in Montreal, and in Charlesbourg before being ordained into the priesthood
on February 23, 1937. In 1957, he arrived at Sainte-Anne's as professor
and a year later, he was named Superior of the institution where he
remained until 1966.
