Father Omer LeGresley Ph.D. (1931-1937)

Omer LeGresley was born August 22, 1896. He studied in Caraquet, Halifax, and Bathurst where he was ordained priest on May 8, 1921. In 1923, he studied literature in Paris, and in 1931, he became Superior of Collège Sainte-Anne only to return to Bathurst in 1937 as director of the juvenate. From 1941 to 1962, he was responsible for different parishes in Bathurst. He died in Québec on April 3, 1963.
