Purpose:

To provide erosion control as a result of channelization to accommodate a landfill..

Objectives:

Create 150 metres of coldwater stream while providing habitat for brook trout and benthic invertebrates.

Description:

Rehabilitation techniques used were brush mattresses, fascines, rock vortex weirs, and substrate enhancement to provide brook trout spawning habitat.
