St. Chad’s Crescent:

This street is named in honour of the Anglican College of St. Chad’s, a Regina institution since 1907. The college facility was originally a hostel where young men were trained for ordination in the church and it was located on Dewdney Avenue. When the first regular sessions were held, there were seven students in attendance, some from Britain.

The present site of the Diocese of Qu’appelle was acquired in 1911 at College Avenue and Broad Street in Regina Saskatchewan.
